How to Play the Snowball Evolution Draft in Clash Royale

The Snowball Evolution Draft introduces a fresh twist to your Clash Royale strategy. In this event, you will select your cards from a pool of two options, giving you the chance to customize your deck more strategically than usual. The primary objective is to make the most out of the evolving Giant Snowball card, which becomes more powerful over time.

The Snowball Evolution Draft in Clash Royale offers both an event and a challenge, and they are played in the same way. The main difference is that winning the challenge rewards players with a special Banner Decoration, while the event grants seasonal tokens.

Once you enter the event or challenge, you'll have 30 seconds to select four cards from a pre-made deck. During each selection, two cards will appear: one for you to pick for your deck and the other will be assigned to your opponent. Essentially, you’ll be choosing four cards for yourself and giving four cards to your opponent, while they do the same.

The Giant Snowball Evolution card isn't automatically given to both players. Instead, one player will have the chance to select it from two evolved versions of the card during the deck-building phase.

The Giant Snowball Evolution card, introduced in Season 66's Cozy Clashmas update, offers unique abilities in battle. When deployed, it can pull enemies back by four tiles while wrapping them. Although it shares the same damage stats as the standard two-elixir Giant Snowball, the evolved version also slows troop movement and pushes back both large units like Giant, P.E.K.K.A., and Elixir Golem, as well as smaller ones like Musketeer, Goblins, and Valkyrie.
