Source: MMOWOWA major update has brought the classic Train map back to *Counter-Strike 2*, featuring modern visuals, gameplay adjustments, and atmospheric rain. More than three years after its removal from the competitive map pool and just a week after Valve teased its return on social media, Train has reemerged with a stunning makeover.
Like other maps revamped for CS2, Train now boasts significant graphical upgrades, including detailed environments, enhanced lighting, and vibrant colors—even amidst the persistent rainfall. The rain effects are impressively realistic, with raindrops landing on characters, creating slick surfaces, splashing in puddles, and forming small streams. These elements combine to deliver an immersive and soothing audio-visual experience.
Gameplay-wise, the changes are equally impactful. The A and B bombsites are now more open, with some of the iconic trains removed to make the layout more accessible for newer players. Despite these adjustments, the map retains plenty of tactical positions and angles to master, ensuring it remains challenging for veterans as well.
